High-strength WPC joist beam for decking.

Designed to be laid directly over a suitable solid substrate. The composite decking joist should be evenly spaced out at no more than 367mm centers. Each joist can be fixed in place using our dedicated expansion joist screws or set into a concrete hunching. Designed to be laid directly onto the sub-floor.

Therefore the WPC boards will expand and also contract relatively similarly due to the same materialistic properties. Composite joists need to be laid on a stable and level sub-base, with a slight gradient for drainage. In conclusion, the composite decking boards can be installed directly onto the joists for a clean and easy installation.

Hardware placement TIP!

• In all WPC materials, it is advisable to pre-drill and then screw the elements (WPC boards), so as to avoid any cracks. Cracks during the first installation or application of the material are not visible but may develop over the years into capillary cracks.
