The reed is 100% natural and comes from two-year cultivation. Unlike one-year reed, two-year reed remains in the root for two years, allowing its outer surface to harden naturally and create a natural glazed finish. This natural process makes it more durable and stable in use.

One of the most important advantages of two-year reed is that it does not shrink after installation, preventing larger gaps from forming between the reeds over time.

The reed is usually harvested from December until approximately March, followed by the necessary processing. Due to its natural glazed outer surface, two-year reed is peeled and has a particularly refined appearance.
