Bamboo is 100% natural material.
The diameter of the dried bamboo on top is often slightly smaller than the diameter at the base.
This is because bamboo is a tree. As each tree trunk at its base the diameter is larger than that at the top.
The bamboo is natural in Greek weather to create some cracks on the fluctuations of temperature and humidity (high temperature - low humidity). The cracks do not affect the integrity or the appearance of reeds.
The bamboo canes the recent years widely used in Greece as decorative, painted or in natural color, but also for durable outdoor structures such as gazebos, beach umbrellas, showers etc.
They are also used extensively in agriculture to shore up the plants.
