IKO Asphalt Shingle Adhesive

The IKO asphalt shingle adhesive is an essential product for the secure and long-lasting installation of roofing shingles. It provides strong bonding, airtight sealing, and enhanced protection, especially in areas exposed to high winds or challenging weather conditions. All IKO mastics are fully compatible with IKO roofing shingles, ensuring maximum performance and durability.

Even when roofing nails are used, additional asphalt mastic is required in regions with strong winds, on steep slopes exceeding 60°, or during cold-weather installation. The adhesive reinforces shingle bonding, prevents uplift and detachment, and offers long-term waterproofing and structural stability.

For best results, IKO recommends using only IKO-brand asphalt mastics, as other brands may not be compatible with asphalt shingles and can significantly reduce the roof’s durability.
